Education

Blockchain is a rapidly developing field offering much potential for study. As such, education is core to the philosophy of IOHK. We strive to offer the highest quality teaching to selected students who will become the next generation of young talent in the industry. Our Director of Education is Lars Brünjes, who holds a PhD in Pure Mathematics and is a specialist in Haskell. Haskell is a functional programming language that offers many advantages, particularly with regard to security, and consequently was chosen as the language in which to construct the Cardano cryptocurrency.
