David Arnold

David Arnold has an entrepreneurial and management background and a passion for systems and software engineering. He started out with Python, before moving on, both personally and professionally, to Nix, which he considers his intellectual home. From this base he aspires to help create a whole new declarative and reproducible world. David believes that if civilization is the containment of nature itself, then Nix is the containment of its 'chaos monkey' species. He can’t wait to help realize some of the promises of blockchain technology and to do so as part of a formidable team. He joined IOHK in 2021.
