Ilan Lugo

Ilan Lugo is a systems engineering and business administrator who joined IOHK in 2021. He has worked as a project, delivery, and relationship manager, leading multidisciplinary teams on projects in the US, Europe, and Latin America. Inspired by blockchain technology, Ilan led a team of volunteers to develop one of the first contact-tracing solutions in the world as part of the fight against Covid-19. That functionality was donated and adopted by the government of Costa Rica as part of its national strategy to tackle the pandemic. Ilan is passionate about blockchain and the impact it is having as we make a better world.
