Luite Stegeman

Luite Stegeman is a Haskell developer from the Netherlands and a member of the Haskell community. After obtaining an MSc from Utrecht University, he decided that it would be a good idea to be able to run Haskell in a browser and started working on GHCJS, the project to build a JavaScript backend for the Glasgow Haskell compiler. Among his contributions are a higher performance Concurrent Haskell for the browser, a code generator and improvements to cross-compilation. He has been working with IOHK since 2019, improving Haskell tooling and code generation for the web.
